ok, who got it.....

Thought I'd jump in with an interesting tidbit. Mr. Covach sent me a link the other day to a guitar auction on ebay. It was Hackett's '57 Goldtop! I would have never thought he would do it, sell his beloved Les Paul! This is THE guitar, the one used on the Firth Of Fifth solo. He used this guitar starting from the Selling England album, through the rest of his time with Genesis, with GTR, and on all his solo albums including the one not yet released with Squire. The seller (Hackett's guitar tech) received 2 offers and the listing ended early so someone must have purchased it. I considered selling my house and all my worldly possessions, but I still would have been a bit shy of the $125,000 asking price. I wonder if he would have taken any interesting trades? (how about a kidney and another organ or body part to be named? Is that an interesting trade or just weird and disturbing....?)

As far as the band goes, Rich is currently on his honeymoon so things are a bit slow. We will be meeting soon to discuss what new songs will be added to future shows. Then a little bit of learning time and rehearsals. We are hoping to get back out as soon as possible, so be patient with us. Everyone in the band is as anxious to get back on the road as I am sure you the fans are eager to see us again.

What we're up to

Hello TWR fans! I just wanted to give you a quick update on what we're currenly working on. We're refreshing our set list, bringing back some songs that we haven't played in a long time and we're excited about performing them with our revamped lineup. Our new agent is in the process of lining up new gigs, so stay tuned for show announcements. Hope to see you all soon!
